November 1838 as The Bombay Times and Journal of Commerce. The paper

an English daily newspaper in
the Indian state of Karnataka.
It is published by the Printers (Mysore) Private Limited and has a number of
editions in Bengaluru, Hubballi, Davanagere, Hosapete, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Kalburgi and Delhi

an English-language Indian daily newspaper. It is published in Mumbai by Indian Express Group. In 1999, eight years
after the group's founder Ramnath Goenka's
death in 1991, the group was split between the family members. The southern

editions, based in Mumbai, retaining the originalIndian Express name,
with "The" prefixed to the title.
